A partnership dissolved acrimoniously. One partner wanted to continue acting in the partnership's name.

The other partner didn't argue. He notified all clients, all banks, all suppliers: the partnership was dissolved. Any contracts signed in its name were void.

The rogue partner tried to make deals. No one honored them. His authority had been fenced off.
