The Baker's Ovens

A baker had three ovens. He used only two — the third sat cold.

"Fire it up," his apprentice said. "We could bake more."

"We bake enough."

One morning, an oven cracked. The baker moved his loaves to the third oven and kept baking.

His competitor, who used every oven at full capacity, closed for a week when one of his failed.
