The Cook's Allergy Card

A cook couldn't memorize every guest's allergies, but needed quick checks.

She kept a card with marks for common allergens. If a dish matched no marks, it was safe for everyone. If it matched some marks, she checked the full guest list.

The card was small and fast. Occasionally it flagged dishes that were actually fine. It never missed a real danger.
