The Ship in Storm

A ship caught in a storm was taking on water. The cargo hold was full.

The captain ordered cargo thrown overboard.

"That's our profit!" the merchant cried.

"A ship that sinks carries no profit. A ship that floats can earn again."

They threw half the cargo into the sea. The ship, lighter, rode out the storm.
