A baker delivered bread to ten houses every morning.

At first, he delivered at exactly the same time each day. Customers grew impatient if he was even a minute late.

He changed his approach: deliveries would arrive between dawn and mid-morning. Customers stopped watching the clock.

The pressure disappeared. The bread still arrived.
