The Expedition

An expedition to uncharted lands had five equal partners.

Each had invested. Each had opinions. Each wanted a say.

They agreed: decisions would be voted, but one person would be the expedition leader, with final authority in emergencies.

"What if I disagree with the leader's emergency decision?"

"Then you disagree and survive. Or you argue and don't."
