A kingdom needed to communicate with its neighbors, but the neighbors spoke a different language.

The king didn't learn every language himself. He appointed an ambassador — someone who spoke both languages and could translate the king's wishes into terms the neighbors understood.

The king spoke clearly. The ambassador handled the translation.
