The Library

A library kept all its scrolls in one great hall.

When the roof collapsed, every scroll was destroyed.

A new library was built as a series of small rooms, each with its own collection.

When one roof collapsed, one collection was lost. The rest survived.

That's ten stories for each of ten principles — one hundred in total:

1. Cascading Failures

2. Feedback Loops

3. Circuit Breakers

4. Observability

5. Graceful Degradation

6. Tight vs. Loose Coupling

7. Backpressure

8. Single Points of Failure

9. Idempotency

10. Timeouts and Recovery

11. Bulkheads and Isolation
