Ten farmers needed to take grain to market. Each could take his own cart.

But one cart could carry grain from three farmers. Instead of ten trips, they made four.

The road was less crowded. The market wasn't overwhelmed. Each farmer paid less for transport.

The destination was the same. Why multiply the journeys?
